How to select the right Flexitech Gear Coupling?- Select the size Flexitech Coupling that will accommodate the diameter of the largest shaft. Usually this will determine the proper size coupling for your condition.

- Check your application against the Service Factor Chart. Use the following formula to ontain HP per 100 RPM of your application HP x Service Factor x 100 / RPM= HP / 100 RPM
LubricationWe offer Gear Coupling, which must be filled with proper grade of Grease or Oil while installation and periodically also. It is recommended to use grease where the maximum temperature is within 80ºC and for temperature above 80ºC oil should be used. Our professional suggests for using following grades of grease / oil for the best performance. For speed above 1500 RPM use oil SERVOMESH A-90 of Indian Oil Corporation having viscosity 91 C/S at 100ºC or of 324 = 35 cst/50ºC (40ºC Engler / 50ºC) OR equivalent.
For lesser speeds use grease with high-pressure additives like SERVOPLEX EP-1 of Indian Oil Corporation or SHELL ALVAMIA EP – 2 or lithium/sodium grease with EP / additives drop over 180 degree C grade of penetration.

The Coupco bush type Flexible Coupling is of the cushioned drive type transmitted the torque through high tensile steel bolts to the machine input shaft. Synthetic rubber compounds are used in bushes to absorb shock loads, torsional vibrations and slight misalignments.
Simple and compact in construction, the Coupco Coupling dealt and supplied by us is capable to transmit high torques at maximum speeds. The flanges are manufactured with cast iron, grade 20 of I.S. 210. This type of Coupling permits drive in either direction and requires neither lubrication nor adjustments after fitting. The flexible bushes remain unaffected by water, dust and atmospheric conditions. The listed Couplings are standard but special types and sizes will be considered if quantities warrant tooling. Flanges are bored to suit requirements and are keywayed to British standard specifications, unless otherwise stated. Power for the standard coupling varies from 0.81 KW to 249 KW at 100 r.p.m. and sizes from CPBC- 1 to CPBC-11.
